My credit cards interest rate is crazy HELP

It's so high, I don't know how i'll ever be able to pay the card off. It has an interest rate of 30% and even paying above the minimums it'll take forever to pay off.
Is there anyway I can lower the interest rate? I don't want to stop paying it, but i don't know how I will ever finish paying it.

If you have credit cards with a balance on them and your interest rate is out of this world — call your card issuer. Tell them you’re having trouble keeping up with the minimum payments. Sometimes they offer, but if they don’t, ask them to lower your interest rate either permanently or temporarily while you get a solid handle on your payments.
Believe it or not, this has been known to work. The last thing they want is for you to become so overwhelmed by your payments that you quit paying entirely — something that happens all the time.
They’ll work with you if they know this is a possibility.
