I've never had a bank account, what's the best place to go and get one? Does it cost any money? Is there any different between Wachovia, Bank of America, etc.?!

You need to setup a bank account with someone that has little to no fees, has no minimum requirement for money in the account, and has programs designed for younger adults.
You can get a bank account anywhere. It doesn't need to be a huge corporation either like Bank of America or Wachovia, you can signup at a local credit union. Sometimes it's a benefit getting a bank account with a local CU, as they can provide you good interest rates later when you need to get a car/house loan.
